Compare Sonic Menu Items: Calories, Protein, Sodium & Sugar (2026)

Quick answer: choose two Sonic items and a size for each, and the table shows calories, fat, sodium, sugar, protein and allergens side by side, straight from Sonic's own guides. Add a quantity to answer questions like “how many calories in 2 corn dogs”. It says which number is higher, never which item is better.

Frequently asked questions

Sonic Compare FAQs (2026)

How the comparison works, where the numbers come from and what it leaves out.

How do I compare two Sonic menu items?

Pick an item, a size and how many you want for side A and side B. The table shows calories, fat, saturated fat, trans fat, cholesterol, sodium, carbohydrates, fiber, sugars and protein side by side, with the larger number marked. You can choose from 172 items and 437 size options, and copy a link to the exact comparison.

Where do the numbers come from?

Every value is copied from Sonic's Fall 2026 nutrition guide, and limited-time items come from Sonic's November 2026 brochure. We only add, multiply and compare them. Drive-ins can prepare items differently, and Sonic can update a guide at any time, so the guide in the Sonic app is the final word.

Can I compare more than one of an item, like 2 corn dogs?

Yes. Use the plus button next to each side to set how many, up to 10. Every nutrient, including the percent Daily Value, is multiplied by that number, so 2 Corn Dogs shows twice the calories and sodium of one.

Why do some values show less than 1 (<1)?

Sonic prints "<1" when a nutrient is above zero but under 1 gram. We show it as printed and do not guess a winner when a "<1" value makes the order unknowable. With a quantity above 1 it becomes "<2", "<3" and so on.

Why can't I compare allergens for some items?

Sonic's allergen guide lists some foods only by their parts, such as a bun, a patty and a sauce, and some items are not in it at all. When either side is not listed as a single item, we say so instead of guessing. Use our allergen menu to check parts, and always confirm with your drive-in.

Does it compare prices?

No. Sonic publishes no national menu prices, and prices vary by drive-in. Our menu pages show typical prices that we label as estimates, but this tool compares only what Sonic prints.

Does "higher" mean worse or better?

Neither. "Higher" only marks the larger number. Whether you want more protein or less sodium depends on you, so we do not label any item as healthier. The percent Daily Value uses the FDA's 2,000-calorie reference and is a way to compare, not a personal target.

Are limited-time items included?

Yes. Items from Sonic's November 2026 limited-time block, such as the Santa Slush Float and the Smoked Gouda and Bacon Smasher, are included and flagged because they may leave the menu.

Where the Numbers Come From

We are an independent guide, not Sonic or Inspire Brands.

Sources

  • Sonic's Fall 2026 nutrition guide: every value for regular menu items.
  • Sonic's Fall 2026 allergen guide: the allergens marked for each item.
  • Sonic's November 2026 brochure: limited-time items, flagged on the page.

What it does not do

  • It adds, multiplies and compares Sonic's numbers. It does not estimate anything.
  • It leaves out items that are not in the Fall 2026 guide, and drink add-ins and burger add-ons.
  • It does not compare prices, because Sonic publishes none.
  • It does not call any item healthier. “Higher” only marks the larger number.

Pricing & Nutrition Information Notice🇺🇸 About our prices

Sonic publishes no menu prices. Prices on Sonic Menu are not Sonic's: where we could, we show a typical pickup price measured by Drive Thru Index across a sample of Sonic restaurant pages (checked November 6, 2026); for a few items we could not measure, a rough estimate of our own. They are not live prices from any single restaurant. Exact menu prices, combo meal promotions, and product availability vary by independent franchise location, drive-in stall vs. drive-thru, and delivery service app markups (DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grubhub).
